Below is an example of the kind of tour they offer: Day 1 Upon arrival in Kota Kinabalu guests will be met and assisted by a KK Tours & Travel guide and transferred to the Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa Resort, with dinner on this first evening at a local seafood restaurant. Day 2 After breakfast, check out and meet your tour guide at the hotel lobby and depart on a two-hour drive across the spectacular Crocker Range to the ecologically unique environs of Mt Kinabalu. At Park HQ (1540m/5000ft), visit the Education Centre and the Botanical Garden to see orchids, rhododendrons, ferns, pitcherplants, kerosene trees and others. Take a jungle walk near the Park HQ and learn more about the Montane Forest. Proceed to Kundasang and visit the Kundasang War Memorial. Established in 1962, this was one of the first memorials to commemorate the brave Australian and British Prisoners of War who died in Sandakan and during the infamous death marches to Ranau during World War II. The memorial also remembers the people of North Borneo who risked their lives to help the POWs. Continue by road to Sabah Tea Garden, Kg. Nalapak, Ranau. After lunch depart for Kg. Luanti Baru for fish massaging and learn about tagal fish conservation. A river swim preceded a return to the 40 miceAsia.net longhouse for a refresh before a BBQ dinner with traditional dances by village children. Day 3 Enjoy a morning sunrise walk to view Mt. Kinabalu. Return for breakfast then take a tea factory tour. Just prior to lunch experience batik painting followed by lunch and later return to Kota Kinabalu. Day 4 Transfer to the airport for the short flight to Sandakan. Upon arrival in Sandakan you will be taken to the 43 square kilometre Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary and virgin jungle reserve. Observe man’s closest relative being rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat, and experience a walk in the tropical lowland dipterocarp forest of Borneo. Trek 10 minutes through the rainforest on wooden plank walks to witness the feeding of orang utans. After Sepilok, check in to a Sabah hotel and enjoy lunch. After lunch proceed to the Australian War Memorial at mile 7.5. The Australian War Memorial is built at the site of the former Sandakan Prisoner of War Camp, renamed Sandakan Memorial Park, in memory of the 2400 Australian POWs and others who died at the camp and in death marches in North Borneo during World War II. Day 5 After breakfast participants will travel by boat to Sukau - a two hour boat cruise up to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary.
